Terms and Conditions

For our private safari marketplace, tourist and provider accounts, and related operational services.

1. Marketplace scope and service roles

JeepBooking is a marketplace for private safari jeep services in Sri Lanka. Tourists request a safari from a listed provider; the selected provider supplies the jeep, driver and agreed safari. JeepBooking supports accounts, requests, communication, operational records and dispute administration. Related brands have separate systems and terms.

2. Accounts and group information

Use your own authorised tourist or provider account, give accurate contact and traveller information and keep authentication details private. The adult arranging the safari must be authorised to act for the group. All travellers, including under-six guests, count towards jeep capacity.

3. Request, revised quote and confirmation

A booking request takes no payment and does not guarantee availability. The provider reviews the request and responds within the displayed deadline; the default response window is 15 minutes and can be changed by Admin. A revised price requires explicit tourist acceptance. Check the confirmed record before travelling.

The provider records the assigned jeep and driver. A booking status, payment status and safari progress are separate; a driver marking the safari finished does not itself mean the tourist has confirmed completion.

4. Price, tickets and pickup

The fare is per jeep, not per passenger. Review package duration, capacity, hotel pickup coverage, timing and any disclosed pickup cost before acceptance. Current agreed prices are in LKR; USD amounts are estimates. Park tickets are the tourist’s responsibility unless the accepted package expressly includes them. Verify ticket eligibility and rates for the park and travellers; age categories do not reduce the jeep fare.

5. Current payment method

Current checkout accepts cash directly to the driver; online payments are unavailable. Agree the cash amount and payment arrangements with the provider. Do not assume the platform holds an online deposit. This policy does not enable a gateway or impose an online surcharge.

If an exceptional or historical payment is involved, support must review the actual collection record and agreed terms. A refund case or ledger entry alone is not evidence of a completed money transfer.

6. Cancellation and replacement

The Cancellation & Completion policy forms part of these terms. Before-day cancellation means before 00:00 at the start of the safari date in Asia/Colombo. Use the booking controls where available or contact support promptly; check that the change is recorded.

If the provider cannot supply the jeep, a proposed same-price substitute requires your consent and must meet the group’s capacity and agreed needs. An unaccepted substitute is not a confirmed replacement.

7. Completion, reviews and complaints

After the driver marks the safari finished, confirm completion or report a problem. Do not confirm completion if the safari did not happen. A review is optional and should describe a genuine completed booking without harassment or private information. Reviews may be moderated; no favourable review is required to receive support.

8. Safari safety and limitations

Follow the driver’s and park staff’s instructions, supervise children and disclose relevant assistance needs before acceptance. Park closures, weather and safety conditions may change the route or timing. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Do not request unsafe driving or violations of park rules.

9. Provider obligations

Providers must accept the Provider Terms, keep listings, parks, package prices, pickup information, jeep capacities and driver authorisations accurate, and maintain required documentation. Admin approval is needed before listing for booking. A verification badge indicates a review status, not a guarantee of every service outcome or official park endorsement.

10. Website use and intellectual property

Use the service lawfully. Do not interfere with systems, evade access controls, impersonate others, submit misleading records, scrape private information or use contact features for harassment or bulk unsolicited messages. Images, text, software and brand names remain the property of their respective owners. Permission to browse does not authorise reuse of protected materials.

11. Responsibility, complaints and applicable law

We aim to provide accurate information and reasonable support, but weather, traffic, park operations, third-party services and events outside reasonable control may affect a journey. Raise problems promptly with your booking reference so they can be reviewed. An administrative status is not proof that money has been refunded or a dispute has been resolved.

These terms are intended to be governed by Sri Lankan law, subject to any mandatory law that applies to you. Nothing here excludes responsibility for fraud, negligence or another matter where exclusion is unlawful, or removes non-excludable consumer rights. No guarantee of wildlife sightings, uninterrupted website access or a particular travel outcome is given.

12. Updates and existing bookings

Last updated: 6 October 2026. We may update these terms when the service changes. Material booking conditions must be disclosed before acceptance. A later website update does not retrospectively replace the price, inclusions or terms accepted for an existing booking, except where required by law or agreed with you.

13. Contact and privacy

For terms, booking or privacy questions contact helpjeepbooking@gmail.com, including the relevant reference. Never send a password, sign-in code or bank document in ordinary support email. See the Privacy Policy, Cancellation & Completion policy and Provider Terms.
